K-5 Story!

K-5 Boardshop has been selling Quality Surf, Skate, and Snowboarding Boarding Equipment since 1987.

Our first location is located five kilometers from the coast (K5). That's where the K5 comes from. If you're ever in the San Diego area, come check out one of our three retail locations. We have three Retail Stores. The original in Encinitas, one in Poway, and a Premier Stand Up Paddle Board Shop on Coast Hwy in Oceanside. We stock Surf, Skate and Snow Clothing from Billabong , Quiksilver , Hurley, Volcom, Reef, Roxy, Dragon, Element, Honolua Surf Company. Also Spy, Ezekiel, Krew (Kr3w), Lost, Mada, Matix, Monument, LRG, O'neill, Rvca, Rusty, Quiksilver Premium, Sessions, 686 Outerwear, Zero, Innes, Komunity Project and of course K5 (KFive) Clothing. Most are under the catagory of Surf Clothing and Apparel, Skate Clothing and Apparel and Snow Clothing and Apparel in web terms, but as a core shop we hate to use those terms. Just like San Diego Surf Shops, San Diego Snowboards Shops or San Diego Skateboard Shops since we sell Worldwide. 

The 2010 Snowboard season is coming to an end and all is on sale. The snowboards that will make cut next year are probably Arbor snowboards - Never Summer snowboards - Galaxy snowboards -Rome snowboards -Flow snowboards -Lib Tech snowboards (Banana Boards)- DC snowboards and Stepchild snowboards. The 2011 Bindings are; Flow Bindings, Rome Bindings, Union Bindings, Flux Bindings and Technine Bindings.  The Snowboards boots for 2011 are probably 32 -Thirty Two snowboard boots, Vans snowboard boots and DC snowboard boots.  Snowboard Outerwear and Clothing for 2011: 686 outerwear and clothing, Roxy outerwear and clothing,Quiksilver outerwear and clothing, Billabong outerwear and clothing, DC outerwear and Neff clothing. Snowboard Gloves and Accessories are from Grenade gloves and accessories, DaKine gloves and accessories, Buff accessories, Serius accessories and Rome gloves and accessories.

Goggles from Dragon Goggles, Oakley Goggles, Vonzipper Goggles, Electric Goggles and Spy Goggles. Also, Snowboard Helmets from Protec snowboard helmets and Smith snowboard helmets. Snowboard Socks, First Layer and other important necessities are from Thirty Two,  Hot Chillys snowboard socks and first layer,  686 first layer and Sessions first layer.
